Our Coffee
The Coffee grown in Ka’u has achieved some of the highest cupping scores from the Specialty Coffee Association. Coffees that achieve a cupping score of 80 or higher are called Specialty Coffee, however, Ka’u coffee’s have consistently scored at 85 through 87, an outstanding feat that reflects the terroir of Ka’u.
Ulu Ka’u Teas
Tea has been cultivated here on the Big Island since the late 1800’s – enjoyed by the earliest missionaries then localized when seedlings were brought over by first generation Asian immigrants and grown in plantation backyards for private consumption. Today, Hawaii island is recognized for its rich, high altitude, volcanic soil cultivated tea.
